Farm Wife Devotions: Ask, Seek, Knock
This is a verse that most people are familiar with. We know that we’re to bring our problems or concerns to God in prayer and ask for His help. But do we live in the belief and trust that He will come through for us?
In Mark10:51 a blind man cries out to Jesus for mercy. When he is brought to Jesus, Jesus asks him “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus knew full well that the man wanted to see, but offered him the opportunity to ask. Jesus wants to hear from us. He gave us free choice to choose Him and to choose to seek Him to fulfill our needs, wants and desires.
Will you humble yourself today, to ask God to supply or fulfill you needs? He’s always there, waiting for us to seek him!
How have you seen God work in your life after bringing Him your needs! Feel free to share in the comments! I love hearing from you!
